MIXED & VETERANS HOCKEY AT WTHC

Wisbech Town HC seeks to enter Mixed and Veterans (Mens and Ladies) teams into national competitions where possible each season.

In 2016, the Mens Veterans side were crowned National Champions after beating Norwich Dragons HC 3-2 following penalty flicks; 12-months later the our Ladies Veterans side reached the National Final, losing out to Barnes HC in a hard fought finale at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre at the Olympic Park. The club’s Mixed team were finalists in the National Mixed Plate competition in 2011, losing 3-1 to Bedford in the Final, and made the last-16 of England Hockey’s Mixed Championship in 2020. You can read more about both of these campaigns here.
