All ten Wisbech Town HC sides were in action on Saturday, despite the wet and windy conditions.
UNBEATEN STREAKS EXTENDED DURING BUSY WEEKEND
WTHC saw both first teams pick up points at the weekend, while two other sides managed to continue their own unbeaten streaks.
POPE POWERS LADIES 1s TO WIN
Izzy Pope’s hat trick helped the Ladies 1st XI secure a 5-1 win against St Neots at Harecroft Road, with the Ladies 2nd XI also picking up two wins over the weekend.
LADIES 1ST TEAM DENIED BY LATE GOAL
WTHC Ladies 1st XI put in a strong performance at Bury St Edmunds, while the Mens 3rd XI, and Ladies 4th XI earned their first wins of the season.
FIRST WIN FOR MENS 5TH TEAM
WTHC Mens 5th XI recorded their first ever league win, while the Ladies 1st, and 3rd XIs picked up their first points of the season.
LADIES 2ND XI GET OFF TO WINNING START
WTHC Ladies 2nd XI secured a win in their first league game of the 2024/25 season, while the Mens 4th XI were also victorious.
LADIES 5s MAKE WINNING START
WTHC Ladies 5th XI were victorious in their first ever league game, as the 2024/25 hockey season got underway.
