Notice of Annual General Meeting of Wisbech Town Hockey Club - Wednesday 15th May 2024.

Wisbech Town Hockey Club will hold its Annual General Meeting at Wisbech Town Cricket & Hockey Club, Harecroft Road, Wisbech, PE13 1RR on Wednesday 8th May 2024 at 7.30pm. Please arrive promptly, so that the AGM can get underway as planned.

The preliminary agenda is as follows:

1. Approval of Previous Years AGM Minutes

2. Chairpersons Report

3. Financial Report

4. Election of Officers for the following roles to the Committee:

1. Chairperson

2. Vice-Chairperson

3. Club Secretary

4. Senior Liaison Officer

5. Junior Liaison Officer

6. Welfare Officer

7. Umpire Liaison Officer

8. Communications Officer

9. Mens Club Captain

10. Ladies Club Captain

11. Social & Events Officer

12. General Committee Members

5. Election of Team Captains and Vice-Captains (Vice Captain to be chosen by appointed Team Captain)

1. Ladies’ 1st Team, 2nd Team, 3rd Team, 4th Team, 5th Team Development

2. Men’s 1st Team, 2nd Team, 3rd Team, 4th Team, 5th Team Development

3. Mixed A Team, Mixed B Team

6. Any other business

• A role description for each Committee position - Any individual standing for any role should fully understand the requirements of the role before being nominated

• A mission statement for each playing team - Any individual wishing to stand for any captaincy role should fully read and understand this before being nominated

Nominations for all roles should be sent to hockey@wtchc.co.uk at least 48 hours prior to the AGM.

The meeting shall be chaired by Matt Esser as the incumbent Chairman.

Please note, this meeting was originally scheduled for Wednesday 8th May 2024, but due to unforseen circumstances had to be moved to Wednesday 15th May 2024.
