WE ARE HIRING: MEN’S SECTION HEAD COACH
Wisbech Town HC is in the process of hiring a Head Coach for its Men’s section ahead of the 2024/25 season.
About Wisbech Town Hockey Club
Located on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border, Wisbech Town HC has invested substantially in its club facilities in recent seasons, including a new Astro turf surface, playing equipment, and club engagement programs. The club has expanded to ten Senior teams for the 2024/25 season (five Men’s teams, five Women’s teams), and boasts a growing Junior section with age groups teams from Under 8 to Under 14.
About the Role
Wisbech Town HC is looking to continue building a successful and sustainable club by recruiting an experienced Head Coach to further the development of our Men’s 1st, and 2nd XIs, which achieved promotion to East Division 1 North, and East Division 2 North West respectively last season.
This is a paid role focussed on the Men’s 1st, and 2nd XIs, but the club would consider expanding the role to include the 3rd, 4th, and 5th teams, as well as the Under 14, and Under 12 Boys teams, to ensure player progression through the club. There is flexibility regarding training schedule which can be discussed between interested candidates and the club.
There is also the possibility of paid coaching opportunities within our Women’s section, as well as the option to undertake additional roles within the club and/or wider community for the right applicant.
The club is open to Player/Coach applications, including from overseas, and can discuss suitable accommodation where applicable.
